WHAT’S THE RENTAL FEE?

Our rate is $1,900 for Saturday Rentals (6pm Friday thru Midnight Saturday). Sunday Rentals are $1,500 and are available from 8am thru Midnight.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THE EVENT CENTER ACCOMMODATE?

For weddings and banquets with round tables, The Event Center at Mill Race can seat 225 guests. For theater style events, we can seat 250.

CAN I HAVE AN OUTDOOR CEREMONY OR EVENT?

Our outdoor terrace and grassy area make a beautiful spot for a wedding ceremony or gathering place for corporate events. Outdoor furniture would need to be rented.

IS FURNITURE PROVIDED?

Our furniture is for inside use only and we offer chairs, (25) 5’ round tables, (10) 6’ rectangle tables, and (7) cocktail tables.

CAN I BRING MY OWN CATERER?

The Event Center will allow you to select your own caterer, but the caterer must provide licensing and insurance proof. The renter is responsible for obtaining and providing proof. Proof of this must be submitted (written/email) to The Event Center within thirty (30) days of the event.

The kitchen is to be left how it was found. You may use the use the stainless-steel refrigerator, stove/ oven (for warming), dish washer and ice machine. No serving items from the center may be used for your event.

WHAT’S YOUR ALCOHOL POLICY?

To have alcohol at The Event Center there is a $350 fee, and you must hire a licensed bar service/caterer with 3-way offsite liquor license and insurance. They must be approved through The Event Center and give proof of license and insurance. The renter is responsible for obtaining and providing proof of the bartender’s/caterer’s Standard Bartender’s License and Liquor Liability insurance. Proof of this must be submitted to The Event Center within thirty (30) days of the event. Failure to provide proof will result in cancellation of your bar. The Event Center does not allow any temporary beer or wine licenses or renters to purchase their own alcohol. Last call for the bar is at 10PM so that event can conclude at 11PM and guests and clean up done by midnight. There are several bars and caterers in town who can provide a bar at your event.

OTHER DETAILS

A signed contract and date-hold deposit in the amount of $1000 and damage deposit $250 must be received to reserve your date. The date-hold deposit is non-refundable. The damage deposit will be returned to you, provided The Event staff finds the facilities have been left in the same shape in which they were rented to you.

The balance of your rental fee MUST be paid thirty (30) days prior to your event or rental is canceled.
